Tourism Information Centers

For more detailed information and help planning your visit to Izabal, be sure to visit our Tourism Information Centers in Puerto Barrios or Livingston!  In Puerto Barrios, the Information Center is conveniently located right off the Municipal Dock in a large green building.  This Center is managed jointly through the cooperation of FUNDAECO and the members of the Izabal Geotourism Alliance.  In Livingston, construction should begin soon for the Information Center, which will be located directly next to the municipal dock.  This Center will be managed jointly through the cooperation of Ak’Tenamit and the members of the Izabal Geotourism Alliance.
