Sustainability
All the profits from the hostel benefit the children’s library which is located on the bottom floor. Visitors have the opportunity to work as volunteers in the library and donate to projects. They have a compost which is used in the children’s garden. The hostal recycles and offers refills instead of selling plastic bottles. They are in the process of creating local arts and crafts using recycled products found locally.
Cultural sustainability: The library has classes such as music classes, theatre and puppet making classes,English classes, and many other projects to encourage and celebrate local culture.
