Café Rosada

Nestled in a quiet garden along the river, the restaurant serves up delicious local specialties in a relaxing environment.  They have a real espresso maker and some of the best coffee in town, and are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  The prices are reasonable and the food is all made with fresh, local ingredients and artfully prepared.  It is best to call ahead to make a reservation so they can be prepared for your visit, especially during the low season.

Hours of operation:  9:00 am- 8:00 pm

Menu items include:
 
Breakfast: cheese-omelet, eggs any style, banana pancakes, fruit with granola and yogurt, fruit, and toast 
 
Lunch: tuna sandwich with fruit salad, cheese sandwich with fruit salad, quesadillas, tortillas with cheese and frijoles, fruit salads and vegetables salads. 
 
Dinner: Lobster, filet mignon, shrimp, conch, fish fillet, vegetarian meals, Thai & Vietnamese curry & the typical course tapado ( coconut milk soup with fish, shrimp, crab, plantains). Dinner is a complete menu: fresh garden salad, special dressing, coconut bread, main dish & a homemade dessert.  

The restaurant has a full bar.
