Kayak Tour

Gliding down the river in your very own kayak is the perfect way to explore Izabal and the Rio Dulce.  Many hotels and companies rent kayaks by the hour and can often provide knowledgeable guides to accompany you on your trip.  

You can find kayaks for rent up and down the Rio Dulce, including Puerto Barrios, Rio Dulce, Livingston, Aguas Calientes, and Rio Tatin.  Companies offering rentals include Happy Fish, Finca Tantin, and Playa Sand Bay.  Expect to pay about $10 per hour.
