This unique and interactive tour typically starts with a walk through the charming town of Livingston, where the guide explains major cultural sites such as the graveyard and church and also explains a little about the local culture and traditions.  The group then hikes through the jungle, where medicinal plants are explained along the way, and after a few hours you arrive at a charming stream where you board acayuca, or traditional canoe, for a float down the river until you reach the sea.  You then walk up the beach and eat lunch at a local restaurant, and then continue hiking up the beach until you arrive at the base of Siete Altares, a local waterfall in the jungle.  After hiking up the falls you finally arrive at the last of the seven pools, and get a chance to jump off the waterfall and into the pool.  Once you hike back to the beach, a taxi is waiting to take you back to town.

Times may vary but this tour usually starts at 9am and ends around 4pm.  It costs about Q150, which includes lunch, canoe rental, a guide, and a taxi back to town.  Tips, drinks, and a Q10 entrance fee to the waterfalls are not included.
