Rio Dulce Boat Tour

0.0/5 rating (0 votes)

Imagine floating down a river, surrounded on all sides by towering cliffs of verdant jungle.  This is the Canyon of Rio Dulce, a must-see attraction in Izabal and a great way to meet local people and encounter exotic wildlife.  There are many companies that offer a boat tour of the Canyon and the entire river.

For cruise ship passengers, there are options to take a shore excursion departing directly from Santo Tomas de Castillo with a stop in the unique village of Livingston.  For independent travelers, round-trip and one-way tours are available departing daily from Rio Dulce and Livingston.
